DateWorks Wolf Calendar Promotes Murder!
Wolves: A Sixteen Month 2006 Calendar by American Greetings subscribes to the idea that to keep Wolves alive is by having the USFWS, USDA murder Wolves in livestock depredations.
This is talked about in the August portion of the calendar. But earlier in the month of June in the calendar, the calendar even admits that livestock depredations are rare. So why murder Wolves if what they admit is true that livestock depredations are low? They could have mentioned how non-lethal methods and Predator Friendly Ranching succeed but took the easy corrupt path in siding with the USFWS/DNR/USDA. Peace is not through unjust violence but through peaceful means of co-existing with others.
They also lie on the bookmark that is included in the pack of this set of calendar, bookmark and mini-calendar. They think that Wolves are not endangered, that they have a long history of survival in the U.S. (which they forgot that Wolves were wiped out from the U.S. in the late seventies with their last populations wiped out from Yellowstone!), and that the USFWS/DNR/USDA is bringing positive attitudes about Wolves to make them succeed. That isn't true, considering instead of educating the populace they murder Wolves whenever they feel like it.
