| Wolf-Dog News 1/22/2010 1) Wisconsin DNR wants more regulations for wolfdogs, and it should be noted that the U.S. Humane Society wants a national ban on wolfdogs. http://www.humanesociety.org/about/contact/ Which of course would lead to the deaths of many wolfdogs if there were a ban. The consequences of more regulations would be the following: Animals would have to be tattooed, spayed or neutered and kept in double-fenced pens of at least 300 square feet. Fences would be at least 6 feet high and extend 30 inches underground. The regulations will be expected by the Wisconsin DNR to be adopted this spring, and begin this summer. Those who own wolfdogs would have until the year 2014 to build the actual pens. Sounds like oppression to me. People fear what they don't understand, and what it controlled and treated horribly. This is bad. Please oppose this folks. Who to contact?
