Here is some updated news as of late regarding Wolf-Dogs from
email-lists we are on.

A) A message to all members of WOLFDOGS NEED HOMES

Happy Wednesday, everyone!

WOW, what a great group of people we have participating in our site!
Can you believe we have raised almost all the fuel costs now?  You folks
are amazing!

Cathy will no longer be needing to travel to the states of NY and IN due to
circumstance, so the journey will be short enough that she now will only
need two nights of hotel stay.  If you work at a major hotel chain and can
provide a freebie or discount rate, please email me directly at
desertokie@yahoo.com.

Our basic need right now is only $200 more in fuel cost, and the $200 for
the neutering surgery.  Anyone wishing to contribute to the fuel fund and
neutering surgery fund can do so by visiting www.paypal.com and input
this email address as the recipient:

cathymb@bellsouth.net

If you wish to donate directly to Cathy's veterinarian to help pay for the
surgery, you can find that information in the Events section of the site.

Several of you will be receiving gifts of collectors plates and/or
photography to keep for yourself or share with a friend!

Thank you, everyone, for being such a kind and giving group of internet
family!

B) NE OK: Beautiful wolfdog dumped in the country

This beautiful low-content wolfdog was dumped in the country. A
kind-hearted soul is watching out for her because he is concerned about
neighbors shooting her if she runs loose, so she is tied up for now.  Inola
Girl is very sweet and loves people, but she needs some training (and
secure containment) as she likes to find treasures in the yards of the
neighbors and take them to her caretaker!

Inola Girl needs a forever home, but a secure foster home would work.
She just needs to be relocated ASAP.

If you can help, please contact
FreedomsSongWolfRescue@gmail.com.

Thank you

We have a girl in Gwinnett County, GA that needs to go near Daytona

Anyone along I-75 sure could use some help in saving this girl.

She has never been in the house, but she will ride GREAT in your truck!

She has been walked on a leash, but she has so much energy that she
likes to drag you at first.

E) The Wolf-Dog that was going to be rescued from St. Regis Mohawk
Reservation apparently was released or captured by another party.

We hope that he is safe. The St. Regis Mohawk Police are looking for the
Wolf-Hybrid.

Originally Wolf-Hybrids were executed on the refuge, and negotiations
were underway to take this Hybrid to a safe location. Motives and parties
involved in this abduction are unknown.

We hope this animal can be rescued and placed back into the hands of
those who will take care of him.

If you have any information, contact your local Wolf-Hybrid group before
contacting the police there so this can happen.

Here is the number for St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Animal Control Officer
Derek Comins:
358-2272, Ext. 287, or the St. Regis Mohawk Police at 358-9200.
