WOLF-DOG NEWS UPDATE 9/29/2009

A) This is the last day to stop a Wolf-Ban in California.
Anything resembling a Wolf-Dog or is one, will be taken
away from the homes of their responsible owners. Gestapo
anyone?

Here is some ways to help.

Sign this petition
http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/ca-law-to-ban-wolfdogs-as-of-
11109

Go to this website: http://www.capet.com

From WolfPAW Mountain:

While it is easy to be irate about the California proposal,
keeping a clear mind and temper will help to assure that we as
owners, rescuers, fosters or friends of the wolfdog will be
taken seriously in this most current battle. This is a life and
death matter for the wolfdog – already rescues and fosters are
filled to the gill. If a ban is put in place statewide in California –
all animals in that state will be at risk. And if it is approved
there, your state may be next.

Find a wolfdog community on the net and work with them to
combat this legislation:

TALKING POINTS

We Are Not Wolves, We Are Not Wild Animals: According to the
United States Department of Agriculture(USDA) - “Crosses
between wild animal species, such as lions and tigers, are
considered to be wild animals. Crosses between wild animal
species and domestic animals, such as dogs and wolves or
buffalo and domestic cattle, are considered to be domestic
animals.”
