A MOTHER'S LOVE OF HER BOY In a small southern rural town of Summerville, GA a testimony to a mother's love took place, when Animal Control officers caught a German Shepherd dog in one of heir traps. What took them by surprise is they didn't expect to get a full escort back to the local pound by this GSD's mother, who looks to be a Labrador mix. (Please if you can help, or know of someone else that can help these dogs call and email: Kim 770-846-8946 ---kamurphy39@hotmail.com) But, that's exactly what they got, when this devoted little momma, half the size of her son followed their truck all the way back to the pound. Animal Control is positive this is TC's mom. In all the years they have worked there, they said they never had a dog follow the truck after another dog. They are being held at a 100% Kill Animal Shelter in Summerville, GA, a very small rural town, with limited resources, so they don't keep their strays around longer than necessary. This duo is on very borrowed time, and we need someone to step up and save them. After hearing of this heroic story, how could we put to death such selflessness? He is fairly slow to trust but once he does, he will look to you to protect him. He is food motivated to learn to trust so food is the way to this boys heart. Strong containment is required for him as with most wolfdogs of his content. Do your research as they do require more raw meat, attention and entertainment than our domestic breeds.
