| MEDIA NEWS 11/7/2009 1) Well the Twilight Saga has a new movie coming out soon called New Moon (11-20-2009). Werewolves are going to be in it. Not to mention they are going to take the route that Werewolf the Apocalypse did many years ago, even before the Twilight came out. This is that the Werewolves are sentient, passionate, and intelligent creatures. Rather than how they are usually portrayed as being monstrous creatures that are mindless are the abomination or nature made flesh. Two cool reasons why one should see this film. One is that the actors who play the Werewolves are largely Native Americans from Canada tribes. You read right, Native Americans in a role that is in a mainstream story. Cool huh? Well here is another cool reason too. Live-action wolves were used from Wolf Mountain Sanctuary for some parts of the film. If you know the difference between computer generated images and live-action, you will know where they are at in the film. Unlike some films in the past, Wolf Mountain is using their wolves to portray the wolves and werewolves as good-guys. Although the werewolves are flawed heroes, they are still heroic, since they can't kill wolves. And they fight against vampires since they are undead. This isn't unlike the series Werewolf the Apocalypse which ran from 1992-2004. So FTW, Wolf Mountain for representing wolves right. If more sanctuaries did this, then the image of wolves can be improved, along with werewolves. ;) Because people still believe wolves eat kids and the Big Bad Wolf, Three Little Pigs, and Red Riding Hood, so the wolves need all the help they can get through support like this.
