1)
Discover Magazine, April 2010 issue, has an article about
Destination Science 2010 of places to go. One of them is
Yellowstone Park. They credit the health of the park to wolves
rebounding there and it resulting in less interactions between
humans and wolves. They say it's a good thing wolves are back.

2) We picked up a copy of Rescue Adventures Collection DVD
at Borders. It has the classic movie,
Night of the Wolf.
It's about a widowed rancher who gets stranded in the woods.
In order to survive she must band together with a wolf that
she encounters. Meanwhile, the rancher's son, is being pursued
by poachers. It's a race against time for survival for all
of them.

3) The Cat recommended a book, called Rocky Mountain Snow
Ghosts by Patti Hirst.

It's about the Snow Ghosts, spruce trees, covered by snow.
They are semi-sentient and one of them, Blizzard (a young
Snow Ghost), goes to his Grandfather's residence for an
ice cream party but gets lost. Will he get there? Not unless
he relies on the wisdom of the bear, wolf and eagle he won't.
To find out the story and the ending, get the book now.
