Here is some updated news as of late regarding Wolves.
1) Starting May 4th, unless Wolves get relisted soon in court, will be delisted. They can't be murdered except by government officials or landowners in livestock issues.
2) A rancher by the name of David Stone found 3 calves dead recently. Of course it was blamed on Wolves. And of course if the Idaho Department of Fish and Game did an active campaign to get Non-Lethal Methods and PF Ranching this wouldn't have happened.
3) In Oregon a meeting took place that was of horrific proportions. History repeats itself as 'conservation' organization's sell out, and side with Oregon Cattlemen's Association along with other agencies like wildlife agencies in that state to make a bill to murder them.
Defenders of Wildlife once again has decided to participate in a bill that will allow the destruction of Wolves in livestock issues of Non-Lethal Methods are exhausted.
Excuse me? Exhausted?
They don't exhaust. And slaughtering Wolves in livestock issues doesn't work. Even Defenders of Wildlife in Canada even addressed this awhile back.
The point is, that if you slaughter the Wolves, more will come back anyhow. The only way you can live with them is NLM's and PF Ranching, and they do work.
Defenders just caved in under pressure, once again, rather than doing the right thing.
Therefore Wolves can be shot to death for biting or chasing livestock.
On a side note, no rancher yet has claimed permits to slaughter Wolves. Which is good. Hopefully they read about Non-Lethal Methods here and hopefully they can use them rather than engage in this terrible war generated by many interests.
Contact all these parties opposing the destruction of Wolves in livestock issues. Including Defenders, who once again claims to protect Wolves, but ends up selling them out.
