The news in this edition isn't
exactly cheerful. We need your help
on alot of stuff.

David Mech, a biologist who for
years has been blinded by the science
he has been a part of and lost his
ethics at the door, once again supports
hunting and claims that habitat
destruction, not hunters will be the
end of wolves.

David Mech has forgotten recently that
studies have shown that the destruction
of wolves leads to annihilation of
ecosystems.

And this integral connection. Who and what
is the primary reason for the most part of
the destruction of wolves? Hunters, and
the government and government agencies around
the world who slaughter wolves.

He ignored the fact that there was a reboot
of the Mexican Gray Wolf Program, only because
the USFWS practically slaughtered all the wolves
out in New Mexico and Arizona.

These wolves were slaughtered in livestock issues.
Issues that could have been prevented with non
lethal means. Means that have been proven to work,
that both Mech and the government agencies either
ignore, or deny it's effectiveness. Some agencies
like Defenders don't use it in places all together.

It's rather bizarre that he doesn't think that
hunters and ignores the reality that they and
the government will make life a bad one for them once
again.

Especially since:

A) Hunting continues in Idaho, where another section
was ended since wolves were hunted to quota.

B) 70% of Alaskan Wolves are targetted for termination.

C) Wyoming's government is more than eager to get wolves
delisted so they can slaughter them. Especially since they
want to be like the Jones'.

Although Ethiopian Wolves are threatened by habitat destruction
and rabies, largely wolves are threatened by hunting interests
and government interests.

And yes, habitat destruction is a
threat around the world to nature, but it's one factor among
many. Ignoring this, is a serious mishap. Feel free to contact
