| Stop the hunts in the Northern Rockies! Go here: http://www.heartofthewolf.org/StopTheHunt.html And you may want to stop him soon. He is declaring a National Hunting and Fishing day soon.... http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/note.php?note_id=168128211126&id=1236187496&ref=nf 2) And hunting costs the lives besides those that are hunted. In Sweden, and in particular, Strömsdal outside Ludvika, hunters decided to go on hunts with their dogs. http://timberwolfinformation.org/info/archieve/newspapers/viewnews.cfm?ID=6073 Wolves saw the dogs as violating their territory and fought to defend it. The hunters decided to open fire, which is illegal, after shooting the air to disperse the wolves. There is a criminal investigation now going on, on the shooter. This is rightly so. Although the shooter tried to stop the conflict. He didn't have to kill the wolf at all by simply not being there with his dog, and not hunting. So now a dog and a wolf are dead. And now people wonder why we are against hunting. Please, friends don't let friends hunt. 3) On to brighter news, two 17 year old wolves (Odin and Ishka) at the Shepreth Wildlife Park in the UK, who have arthritis, are getting treatment that appears to be working from a chiropractor by the name of Steve Aronson. Which the treatment is alternative herbal remedies. And they seem to be working. He kindly is doing work for free and comes by the Park once a month. http://www.royston-crow.co.uk/content/crow/news/story.aspx?brand=ROYWestOnline&category=News&tBrand=HertsCambsOnline&tCategory=newslatestROY &itemid=WEED05%20Nov%202009%2009%3A28%3A51%3A490 Mike Wagner Founder and Director of Heart of the Wolf Organization http://www.heartofthewolf.org/StopTheHunt.html Copyright 2009 Heart of the Wolf Organization |

| Heart of the Wolf Organization News 11/7/2009 HEART OF THE WOLF ORGANIZATION NEWS 11/7/2009 1) So far around 50 wolves have been slaughtered in Montana. http://www.kulr8.com/news/state/69401282.html Defenders of Wildlife apparently has been recorded on record, supporting hunting of wolves in the future. This was stated by Suzanne Stone. http://www.greatfallstribune.com/article/20091106/NEWS01/911060320/1002 This is bizarre indeed considering they were willing to spend alot of money to advertise against the hunt now in Times Square, New York. And Stone has supported the destruction of wolves in livestock issues in the past.. http://www.boiseweekly.com/gyrobase/Content?oid=oid%3A114727 Some may see this here as non-profit vs. non-profit. It isn't. It's our responsibility to protect what we are out to protect. It cannot be both ways. It would like if a police officer who is to serve and protect the innocent decided to be selective on who he or she decided to protect. I think most would not be happy with that. |
