More bad news in the realm of the wolf has
surfaced.

1) Wolves in 5 packs have been targeted in
Montana, for termination by the USFWS.

As a result, 5 wolves are going to be shot to
death. This will destabilize the packs there,
leading to more depredations and as we figure,
the Montana FWP has no interest in using
Non-Lethal Methods and Predator Friendly
Ranching as usual.

Therefore not only are 5 wolves at risk, but
so are five packs.

Contact the Montana FWP in opposition and if you
have legal connections, sue to halt this. Contact
Judge Molloy telling him to stop this senseless
violence.

Living With Wolves recently posted a year end
Special talking about the Thanksgiving Wolf
Massacre. In it, it had a report that although
it condemned the slaughter, still supported the
destruction of wolves in livestock issues.

Which of course is ridiculous since there are
plenty of methods to prevent the destruction of
livestock by wolves without murder and mayhem.

though we don't have control of what ranchers
do on private land, it shouldn't stop us from
working with them to reach the goal of stopping
this violent conflict.

3) As we talked about, fear and hatred of wolves
by the hunting industry and those in the ranching
industry that hate wolves is ever increasing.
