Violence is the first refuge of the incompetent
- Issac Asimov

War is the continuation of politics by other means
- Karl Von Clausewitz

1) The bill that we mentioned that Republican Senator Allen Christensen
introduced actually passed. A tamer version as it is coined,
reflecting the fear of nature, but it shows that people
still fear the wolf, and no change has resulted in this
country.

Except for a change of more fear and hate of wolves.

The problem is, is that people think that meeting
halfway when it comes to wolves is a good thing.

It isn't. It results too often in wolves dying.
Wolves controlled by people, rather than being
allowed to live as they are meant to. It's about
people want to be gods over nature and doing what
they want with it. Those who claim to support wolves
and allow compromises like this are no benefit
to the cause at all.

And Christensen has already slaughtered wolves outside
of the U.S. sadly.

Sweden is one such example where compromise is a mistake:

protective-hunting-but-only-certain-species

Increasing amounts of people want limited hunts of them.

Education must happen and government agencies must
take part. They know this is wrong, but they are afraid.
Afraid of doing the right thing. And more and more
images of fear and hate of them, as the review of a
terrible article portrays, we have alot of work to do
if the wolf is to survive. Especially since there are
shows like maneaters wolves/coyotes, which recently aired
on Animal Planet, damages the wolf's reputation and brings
up non-logical fears once again.

2) Romeo the Wolf in Alaska, has gone missing. We
hope he is safe. Read his story here.

3) An event which left people puzzled is the fact
that wolves are living side by side with coyotes
in Wisconsin.

Should that be surprising? They do mate together on
occasion, and wolves even spare the lives of bears
on their territories, and have shown behavior that
'surprises' 'scientists' and 'biologists'. Well,
animals are smarter than one thinks they are, and their
behaviors are that which one shouldn't quantify or
judge.

4) In Pennsylvania, coyote-wolf hybrids are being
targeted for death in coyote hunts. Oppose the hunts
today by contacting the Pennsylvania government and
their Fish and Game agency.

5) At the Chattanooga Nature Center, there is now
7 red wolves total. Which is good news. The more
the better.

Also in Tennessee, the Bays Mountain Park will
re-open since one out of the two missing wolves
was found.

At least one of the wolves was found and the park
was re-opened.

Anti-Wolf Media 1/28/2009

1) Christensen's Hunting Illustrated Winter 2010
had an article called, Idaho Wolf Hunt, by Jason
Erdmann.

The article writer sadistically hunted down
a wolf out of a wolf pack and slaughtered
a wolf.

It's described in horrible detail. The writer
clearly didn't like pro-wolf views on wolves,
and fully supported the management status of
wolves in control of the state.

He claims without proof like most who don't like
wolves do, that they are decimating herds and that
they are changing the habits of elk.

Well behavior will change when elk who aren't
used to being chased will be chased by their
natural predator neighbors. Hunters are just
used to having elk being lazy and pot-shotting them
and getting sadistic joy out of it.

He and his brothers bloodbath didn't stop there.
They slaughtered elk too. He missed the first
time in murdering a wolf but unfortunately as
we stated above, did succeed in destroying one off
of the earth.

He tries to play sympathy as he claims to have
nightmares for missing that first wolf. Well
I am sure wolves have nightmares all the time
of fearing for their lives, destroyed at the
hands of humans.

Ultimately, this hunter shoots another wolf,
and the wolf runs, and the hunter relentlessly
follows the poor wolf's trail and shoots it
at 15 yards away.

Erdmann described his experience as 'shaking like a leaf'.

He even says he thanked the 'good lord' for the 'hunt'.
Erdmann goes on to say he hopes the management continues
and that this way there will be one dominant species
and that it will benefit the economy, elk as well.

This is all wrong, and as we told you, this is why
the USFWS was pushing for delisting and illegally
got it, thanks to Secretary of the Interior, Ken Salazar.

State agencies support the slaughter of wolves, and so
do countries all around the world for these reasons.
Which are immoral and barbarous.

Eardmann will be coming out with a DVD unfortunately
of his hunt.

And they do hate the wolf, check out their magazine
on previous occasions:

Unless if we educate the populace, the hunting industry
will continue to drive wolf conservation, eliminate
protection of wolves, and cause more damage.

can do whatever they want, which is destroy life without
quarter.

In the meantime, go to: http://www.heartofthewolf.org/StopTheHunts.html
Take action! The Idaho hunts continue until March, if not before, or
longer! This has to stop. Obama promised change. There has been none,
except for more dead wolves!
