Here are the latest updates for Heart of
the Wolf Organization.

1) A wolf was murdered recently in Idaho
and Fish and Game will determine if it
was killed in the hunting zone.

Not that they care truly about wolf lives.

Why?

They want more wolves dead. Pure and simple.

2) And they aren't the only ones that seek more
destruction of wolves.

The Montana FWP wants more wolves destroyed as
well.

And it's for 'problem' wolves. The 'problem'
is the Montana FWP who continues to slaughter
wolves in livestock issues who doesn't use
non-lethal methods. And they fail to educate
the public about them as well and end this
hunting practice.

3) The Alaskan Board of Game is taking their war
against wolves that has gone on since 1996 even
further by allowing the destruction of wolves
near Denali National Park.

The board flatly stated it's not their job to
protect wolves in the park.

Wow. That sounds like a petty worker to me.
The kind of thing you would see on memo that
says you can't do because everyone has to
work together as a team on duties.

And considering the department. It's unethical
that they would do this. But they are controlled
by the hunting industry so this isn't really
surprising..

4) And hunters are calling for the slaughter of
coyotes in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New
York. This is because they have wolf DNA in them.

For years many thought they were breeding with
dogs, but it turns out otherwise. They were breeding
with wolves.

It isn't surprising that the hunting industry
wants blood for profit on this issue. There should
be a study about this, rather than bloodshed.

Even biologists say the percentage of wolf genetics
and blood is small. So it's rather overstated.

But fear brings death and violence, as history has
taught us. Please contact your representatives today
calling for no hunts on these coyotes.

4) The famous Druid Pack is hanging on by a thread.
They may not disappear, but their fate hangs in

5) The call for the expansion of Mexican Gray
Wolves into Grand Canyon has begun. The argument
is of course that elk are overgrazing. This is
of course because there are no predators.

It's a common problem. And restoring wolves would be
the solution. However resistance is forming
from the Gila Livestock Growers Association.
If non-lethal methods were used by them and
promoted and used by the USFWS, this wouldn't
be an issue.

6) Sweden has had alot of activity lately.

A) Conservation groups in Sweden have reported to
the European Union of hunting and that it violates
endangered species rules.

Whether it does apparently is up to the European
Courts. However we should put on the pressure
for the support of wolves.

B) A hunt of wolves may not happen if 20 wolves
are not brought in and accepted by hunters.

And on top of that, even though there was a hunt
of wolves this winter, at least no wolves were
slaughtered from the east. But that doesn't
mean hunts are right..

It must end. Please oppose the hunts by contacting
the European Union. And the Swedish Government.

Contact the Swedish Government to get them to start
using these methods so this will not be a concern.

7) Manitoba Agriculture Services Corporation isn't about to
increase payouts to ranchers involving predators in livestock
issues. This is despite Manitoba Cattle Producers Association
wanting to work with the province to increase the payouts.

Well there shouldn't be payouts. Non-lethal methods can deter
issues, and methods to deter bears can be found as well, with time.
Not bullets and blood.

Please comment MASC, MCPA, and Manitoba about this. The bloodshed
and blood money has to end. Be polite but firm on this issue folks.
