WOLF AND WOLF-DOG NEWS 8/9/2008
2) Recently it was announced that Oregon
Wolves will be classified as Endangered
along with the Wolves in the Northern
Rockies.
http://www.wallowacountych
The whole process of District Court Judge
Donald Molloy's decision to make an injunction
is talked about.
It does have a dark side, as to how to
obtain the injunction that groups had to
require that they were going to succeed
in their case and that irreparable injury
was occurring to the Wolves in the Northern
Rockies while this case was going through
the courts.
This is what Earthjustice meant by their
wait and see attitude about what would happen
to the Wolves. An emergency injunction
should have been filed to prevent going on this
path.
Atrocity should never be suggested to be
allowed to happen to prove a case leading to
injunction and going
along with it isn't ethical.
This injunction has alot of blood on it,
with all involved (listed on the source
article link below) and hopefully despite
this tragedy, Wolves will remain Endangered
and stopping the destruction of Wolves in
livestock issues in the next priority.
Feel free to contact Judge Molloy with
your thoughts on this issue at:

WOLF NEWS 7/19/2008
NEW UPDATES SINCE
YESTRDAY HAVE APPEARED.
1) Federal Judge Donald
Molloy of Montana ruled
last Friday to have
Gray Wolves in the Northern
Rockies returned to Endangered
Status under the Endangered
Species Act.
Molloy agreed with arguments
by 'environmental groups'
that Wolves in Yellowstone don't breed
with Wolves from Idaho and
Montana to ensure genetic
diversity.
He also ruled that Wyoming's
Wolf Management Plan was
inadequate to protect Wolves.
This is because Wolves can
nearly be shot for any reason
in almost the entire state.
Molloy also thought 'environmental'
groups proved that Wolves were
'likely' to be harmed by public
hunting seasons in the fall.
He granted a preliminary injunction
reversing the delisting. And the
whole case is being looked at and
said the plaintiffs were to succeed
in a majority of the claims.
http://www.lmtribune.com/breaking-news/636/
Note this issue did NOT address
nearly the whole reason why
Wolves have been slaughtered
since the end of March.
Which is livestock issues and how to
prevent them. Unfortunately
the plaintiffs I guess didn't
mention this. In fact Carolyn
Sime as reported recently
has been one of many responsible
for deaths of many Wolves
with such issues.
Issues that can be prevented
through Non-Lethal Methods
and PF Ranching.
http://www.heartofthewolf.org/source.html
And if the emergency injunction
was done, we would have had
the same result as of now, but
with 106 more Wolves than before.
For details on that, check out the
7/17/2008 update at: http://www.heartofthewolf.org/index2.htm
We must thank Molloy but also
tell him why also Wolves must
be protected still under the
ESA, to protect them in livestock
issues. And to prevent the issues
without violence.

has approved another Wolf being
shot in a livestock issue June 4th, 2008
in Meagher County.

Wolves must be protected from
all threats. This battle is just
the beginning.
WOLF NEWS 7/17/2008
Ever since Wolves were delisted
in the Northern Rockies, they have
been slaughtered left and right.
http://www.bignews.biz/?id=785225&pg=1&keys=wolves-wolf-shot-killed
106 Wolves in the past 118 days
have lost their lives.
Some of the victims...
Excerpt from bignews article:
• Wolf 253M – This eight-year-old celebrity wolf's fans called him
"Hoppy" because of his limp (caused by an injury from a fight with
another wolf pack). He was shot the day after delisting on an elk
feeding ground in Wyoming. This black wolf was one of the most recognizable
members of Yellowstone's famous Druid Peak pack. People snapped his
photograph and shot video as he and his pack mates played, hunted and snoozed.
Later, he became the first wolf to step foot into Utah in over 75 years
and established his own pack in Grand Teton National Park.
• The Ashton wolves – These two males were killed [murdered] on April 1 near Ashton, Idaho.
The first was shot within view of the shooter's home near some horses. T
he second was pursued by the landowner for over a mile on snowmobile.
Authorities declined to press charges against the shooter due to
"reasonable doubt" as to whether the wolves were "molesting" livestock.
• Wolf B160 – This collared wolf was found shot on April 3 near Clayton, Idaho.
His body was still warm when a woman found him about 70 yards from Highway 75.
He had been shot through the femur and stomach. (Photos of Wolf B160's carcass
are available on NRDC's digital newsroom).
'Environmental' Groups 'finally'
have filed a lawsuit to restore
their status as Endangered.
NRDC, Defenders of Wildlife, Sierra Club, Center for Biological Diversity,
The Humane Society of the United States, Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance,
Friends of the Clearwater, Alliance for the Wild Rockies, Oregon Wild,
Cascadia Wildlands Project, Western Watersheds Project, and Wildlands Project
were some of many to file it.
However some of them failed (Defenders, Sierra Club, Jackson Hole) because
they failed to file an emergency
injunction months ago when
they were delisted at the end
of March, like WE predicted.
http://www.greatfallstribune.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080410/NEWS01/804100302
And now because of that we have
106 Wolves dead, and more to come.
Some groups even take things further
like Franz Camenzind of Jackson Hole Conservation
Conservation Alliance who supports the deaths
of Wolves.
http://www.jacksonholenews.com/article.php?art_id=2665
Carolyn Sime, one of the notorious oppressors
and murderers of Wolves, took advantage
of all this with a meeting that was rather
small in Montana.
This was in regards to a state rule that would
designate the Gray Wolf in being need
of management since it is no longer
in danger of being extinct.
She says that the new rules are going
to show how 'wildlife officials' will
control [dominate] and slaughter
Wolves that 'threaten' livestock and
people. She tries to downplay this
by saying they are protected under
state law.
Wolves haven't been a threat to people.
Humans haven't been killed by a Wolf
in North America for more than 100 years.
Also, livestock issues would have been
prevented long before now through
the use of Non-Lethal Methods and PF
Ranching. But she has ignored and
denied these methods to all around
her in her reach. Other state agencies
and the USFWS also go by this policy,
which must end.
http://www.heartofthewolf.org/source.html
These meetings and the classification
change listed here are the last step
before things are cemented for the
continued domination and destruction
of Wolves.
Two more meetings have been declared.
One in Missoula (July 16th) and
in Helena (July 18th). Written comments were
accepted until July 15th (questionable
since that's before the public meetings
end)has been decided that rules will
be accepted in August.

WOLF AND WOLF DOG NEWS 7/12/2008
Below are the latest Wolf and Wolf-Dog
news items.
1) Wildlife biologists recently
did a howling survey to determine
if Wolves are living in Washington.
The test was done July 7th, and
they think that a pack of Wolves may
very well be living in Washington.
Wolves in Washington would be
classified as Endangered under the
Federal Endangered Species Act in
the western two thirds-of the state.
State biologists are wasting no
time in their attempts to micromanage
and track Wolves as they are
going after DNA samples and wanting
to put radio [slave] collars
on them.
Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife
http://wdfw.wa.gov/wlm/diversty/soc/gray_wolf/contacts.htm
The battle lines are drawn
as Wolves are going to be a target
for everyone that has it out for them
in Washington.
We will give you more details as
they come.
http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/6420ap_wa_gray_wolves.html
2) Wyoming Wolves are already
getting slaughtered en masse
thanks to the delisting of
Wolves in Wyoming.
The lack of an emergency injunction
filed by certain environmental
groups, a la Defenders, Jackson Hole Conservation
Alliance, Earthjustice and more,
helped this result to happen.
20 Wolves have already been slaughtered
since the delisting of Wolves in the
Northern Rockies which took place,
March 28, 2008.
Jim Urbigkit and Cat Urbigkit (Ranchers) (the same
false reporter for the Sublette Examiner)
support the destruction of Wolves in
livestock issues. They both lied recently
in the article referenced here that
the only way to stop livestock depredations
is through murder.
Cat knows that this is not true.
Non-Lethal Methods and PF Ranching has
been constantly been proven to be successful.
And there are good Ranchers who support
these methods.
http://www.heartofthewolf.org/source.html
There are also so-called environmentalists
are filing suit so they can be slaughtered
specifically in livestock issues only.
Like Kirk Robinson (predator@xmission.com) of the Western
Wildlife Conservancy.
These people are no better. You can’t be
an environmentalist if you are selling out
to murder and mayhem. Like Robinson
who just so happens to be on the Utah
Wolf ’Working’ Group. Groups that compromise
and appeal to the oppression of Wolves
for example. Murder is murder, no matter
how it is done and what circumstance.
One Rancher, who doesn’t support
co-existence with Wolves, is reportedly
to have a Wolf pelt in his house.
A Wolf that was named 253, and was
from Utah. The poor Wolf was shot
the first day the restrictions
were lifted.

Cat Urbigkit (cat@pinedale.com) doesn’t just ’run a website’, http://www.pinedaleonline.com/wolf/
she ’graduated’ from being a terrible
reporter..http://heartofthewolf.org/Picture_1.pdf
for the Sublette Examiner, to
being on the Sublette County Predator
Board.
This situation is going to get worse
until it gets better. The status of
Wolves should be restored to Endangered
and the destruction of Wolves in livestock
issues must be stopped. The only way
is through the use of Non-Lethal Methods
and PF Ranching.
The article mentions for years the
Feds have done this too, destroying
the Wolves that ’threatened’ livestock.
The real threat is people that continue
to fear and hate them, and subjugate
them to oppression and death.

3) Montana FWP in conjunction with Wildlife
Services murdered a Wolf yestrday on private
land, and may very well slaughter
more Wolves in conjunction with a livestock issue.
This Wolf was from the Brooks Creek Pack.
They claim to be working with ranchers on
other methods to prevent cattle attacks.
Funny, considering Non-Lethal Methods and
PF Ranching were once again ignored and
murder has become the rule.
http://www.montanasnewsstation.com/Global/story.asp?S=8662433
And they assassinated three Wolves
near Helmville, Montana.

And two Wolves were murdered on Earth
Day from the of the Gravelly Mountains.
http://www.kxmc.com/News/231305.asp
Also Wolves will soon be under the gun
by hunters, thanks to these same agencies.
This fall a quota of 75 was announced too.
The preemptive quota of 22 Wolves
will be in Western Montana’s Management
Unit 2.
Vivaca Crowser of the Montana FWP said
that the Wolf hunting permits will cost
the same as Black Bear permits.
Comments will be accepted through

theirs.

WOLF NEWS 4/11/2008
1) 1ST CASUALTY IN MONTANA
Since Judgment Day (the delisting of Wolves in Idaho, Montana and
Wyoming) has happened
to Wolves, 12 have been slaughtered
in Wyoming.
Now one Wolf has been murdered in Montana.
A rancher murdered the Wolf.
Gary Bertellotti of the Montana FWP thinks
their plan is superior to the Wyoming
one since Wolves aren’t slaughtered left
and right.
But don’t let that fool you. They still
don’t educate, implement, and enforce
Non-Lethal Methods Only and PF Ranching.
http://www.heartofthewolf.org/source.html
And they too support the destruction of
Wolves when they ’feel’ it is necessary.
Which it isn’t.
Many Non-Profit Groups like Defenders,
Earthjustice and other groups intentionally
sat on the side-line, waiting to see
if the slaughter would get ’bad enough’
before filing an emergency injunction.
’Jenny Harbine, an attorney for Earthjustice,
said at the time the groups would be watching
closely how many wolves were killed under state
management before deciding whether to seek an
injunction to stop the state plans from being implemented.’
Bertellotti thinks their might be an injunction.
But with the slowness to act with these groups,
we may or may not to see one.
Any Wolf that’s dead or oppressed should
be reason enough for this, and with the
delisting casualties mounting, we knew
this was going to happen.
The lack of an injunction by these groups has
also caused this situation to mount out of control.
