Hi folks, here is the latest
Wolf and Wolf-Dog news.
1) The Montana FWP was involved
in another depredation incident
that occurred.
They failed ot prevent the
depredation of a Goat. A Guard
Dog on the scene was severely
injured.
They think the Mitchell Mountain Pack,
which includes five to seven Wolves
was around at that time.
Apparently it is the third time
north of Helena where this has
happened in less than a year.
If they had more
Guard Dogs on a property than
just one, this wouldn't happen.
The Montana FWP can try to claim
that they use Non-Lethal Methods
and PF Ranching. But they don't.

Honestly, can one Guard Dog stand
up to 5 Wolves. No. So do things
smartly Montana FWP instead of
blaming the Wolves.
And since they blame the Wolves
as usual, they are going to
murder two Wolves from this pack.
And they also 'euthanized'
a female Wolf near Gardiner.
The 'official' cause is severe
mange.
We suspect the real reason is
because the poor Wolf killed
some domestic Chickens.
Instead of trying to help Wolves
that have mange, incidents like this
happen.

to stop the spread of mange.

The Montana FWP was also involved
in the murders of a Wolf from the
Lebo Peak pack south of Two Dot
last Friday.
They also captured one of the Wolves
from the same pack and collared it
and released it to monitor them for
their next plans of oppression and
mayhem.

2) Population levels of Wolves are going down
in Wyoming, and in particular in Yellowstone
to canine distemper and mange.
Mange was introduced to many Wolves in an

Here is the latest news.
1) Once again the Alaskan
Department of Fish and Game,
and with the help of Sarah
Palin, have begun the slaughter
of Wolves.

30 Wolves.
They plan to destroy 150 Wolves.
Their program has even caught the
attention of the Park Service.
Defenders of Wildlife is against
the killings yet they weirdly
say that it isn't biologically
supported. It doesn't matter

It's MORALLY wrong. If Defenders
thinks it is morally wrong, they need
to come out and say it.
This program must be stopped.
And taxpayers should be upset too in
that state. They are spending $100,000
on this program!

and appears to be growing.

3) A Wolf may have returned to the Gruyere
region of Switzerland.
Evidence after 3 fawns have been killed
point to it.
The last Wolf in that region was murdered
in the late 1830s.

4) Here is some odd news for everyone.
The $410 billion bill spending package
that President Barack Obama signed awhile
back is being used for something interesting.
Well $870,000 of it. Congress approved of
it to be used for the construction of a
breeding center near Tacoma, Washington
for Red Wolves.

This is because Red Wolves have trouble
breeding at other facilities. This is when they
are surrounded by the continued juggernaut
of human development of natural areas into
concrete jungles that devour what was there
first.
A continued tragedy which happens now as
more and more homes, strip malls and other

of Humans.
Hopefully this new facility will help the
Red Wolves.
This earmark isn't a bad one at all, which
is a step in the right direction for Wolves,
but at the same time we need Gray Wolves
re-listed.
Moderate policies by this administration
is a double edged sword.

appeared regarding Wolves in a positive
manner.
1) Black Cat, the anime and the manga
has a character by the name of Anubis.
Anubis is a Wolf from an assassins guild
of the organization Chronos. He helps
the hero Train Heartnet defeat Dr. Tearju
to rescue his friend Eve.

has to do with the Yagami High School.
In one episode the students rescue animals
from harsh treatment at a zoo.
As they prove to those who try to recapture
them, the animals are noble creatures that
know how to live together. One of those animals

WOLVES DELISTED BY OBAMA ADMINISTRATION
Obama's pick of Ken Salazar as
Secretary of the Interior was one
that we were not in support of.
And here is why.
As of today, it was announced that
Ken Salazar delisted the Wolf all
across the United States.
He felt that they were no longer in
danger from extinction.

There is more to it than that Salazar.
Now Wolves are going to be hunted
and their sadistic pleasures in doing
it will be fulfilled.
States like Wisconsin, are going to slaughter
Wolves in livestock
issues that could be prevented with
Non-Lethal Methods and PF Ranching with
numbers we can't even begin to estimate.
Although they are 'protected' in Wyoming,
their fate is clear if this trend continues.
Wolves and all life must be protected. It
would be no different than if we took away
laws that protect people because of how many
there are of a certain ethnicity.
Regardless of McCain or Obama getting
into office, this decision is clear:
The Wolves lost. That is why we did NOT
support any political party in the election
because politics is corrupt and dooms
nations and continues to serve itself rather
than the interests of all, Humans and Nature
alike.
Obama claimed to unite America, but
instead, he caused once again a divide
in this country's history.
One forged in blood and atrocity. And this
was through Ken Salazar, a man who supported
in the past, pesticides that would murder
predators.

There are some news items
that are on this edition.
1) Obama called for a
memorandum memorandum that
suspends a regulation.
This regulation was created
by the Bush Administration on
it's way out to allow the USFWS
and other agencies on the federal
level, to do whatever they
wanted with species without consulting
higher powers.
An order was placed to review
whether that regulation would
be promoting "the purposes of the [Endangered Species Act]."
This just saved the necks of many
Wolves.
If this wasn't called, Wolves would
be delisted and more would die.
But the process still means they could
be in danger.
Wolves' protection must be permanent.
You must thank Obama for the memorandum,
in addition to the Secretary of the Interior
Ken Salazar.
This is also because it is the 160th Anniversary
of the Interior.
Hopefully it will be a great year and
continue to follow in these footsteps.

There has been alot of news going
on in the past 4 days so it's
in two parts.
1) In Wisconsin two hunters
who 'mistook' a Wolf for a
Coyote, shot it to death at the
Manitowoc County town of Newton.
She was a Lone Wolf, who traveled
150 miles just to get murdered.
Already one incident occurred
last December in Lafayette County
of the same type. And last fall
the same thing happened again.

to manage Wolves.

Eric Anderson, the 'professor of wildlife ecology'
at Wisconsin-Stevens Point is fine with the
culling of Wolves through the state and open
hunts which would 'preserve' the Wolf and minimize
damage that would be 'caused' by the animals.
Mr. Anderson, the damage is caused by the lack
of use of NLM's and PF Ranching, and it's proliferation.
This is despite Obama halting the delisting
of Wolves once he came into office.
Once again these agencies and 'people' are more interested
in bloodshed rather than protecting natural
species like they are supposed to.
This is also because instead of using Non-Lethal
Methods and PF Ranching:

And people like Anderson sell out nature, which
they are supposed to be educating about. Mr. Anderson

would he? Probably not.
He is much like David Mech, faking to protect them til
they have small pockets of population and then supporting
their rights being taken away and letting them die.

Excuses from ungulate numbers dropping to
saying that the state's economics loss is
due to Wolves since hunters have to compete
for Elk.

This is a scheme to support the hunting
industry and shoot Wolves to boost their

5) In Kalispell, Montana, a rally
created by hunters was done last
Friday and Saturday.
This was by wearing orange vests
and standing outside of the
Kalispell Fish Wildlife and Parks
HQ.
The event's organizer, Tom Welch
thinks they can make an impact
by saying that they need Wolves
delisted. This instead of
originally saying they
want them delisted.
The news station that reported on
this said that in December a Wolf
pack 'had' to be killed by Montana
FWP because of livestock issues.
And they said that the hunters said
that wildlife numbers are declining
at alarming rates.
That's distorting facts, if there were
any.
Non-Lethal Methods and PF Ranching
prevent livestock issues. And Wolves
use to live in Montana and are vital to the
ecosystems there.
The hunters just don't want to share
with Elk, which no Elk equals a Rocky
Mountain National Park situation.
This is where you have too much of a
prey species, the ecosystem declines
and something has to be done.
Hunters and their ilk shouldn't be
hunting and have no idea what they
are doing, except for murder.

Gov. Bill Ritter of Colorado, who is a Democrat
has been reported that he said on a radio interview
on 850 KOA, that hunting is a vital part of the economy.
And that he said this because he is an angler.
He also says that adding a .75$ hike on hunting
application to go towards wildlife protection
shows hunter and anglers protection towards the
environment.
Ritter was asked how much has been raked in.
He said he didn't know and then said about 50,000
to 1,000,000. The host wondered if it it was worth
it. Ritter replied that the higher officials in
the state thinks it is...
6) A Scottish Wolf Center, called Camperdown Wildlife Centre in Dundee, is being given dead
squirrels to feed the Wolves there from a second culling program
Apparently this is to revitalize the Red Squirrel
population. Already the battle lines have been drawn,
and surprisingly among those who are for against and
for the cull.
Ken Neil of the Saving Scotland Red Squirrel project,
said the cull was working to rebuild the Red Squirrel
population.
Ross Minett of the campaign group Advocates for Animals
is against it because the Wolves are being fed food
that they would not ordinarily hunt. Plus the government
there would save money by feeding the Wolves with the
dead squirrels.
Quite a conundrum huh? This is the end of the result
of Humans interrupting the cycle of Nature.
This is because Grey Squirrels were introduced from
American into Scotland. They in the 1800's were fashion
adornments for the gardens of those who were rich and
they apparently overpopulated the area.

7) In Sweden a Wolf Safari is offered and
you can possibly see them.
Alistair Mccann of Vildmarksguiden is
planning for tracking in Northern Sweden.
The safari's can be planned up to March
31st.
You have to be out in the area they
take you to for one to two days.
Alistair has said that customers come from
Germany and Holland. Alistair also sees
Wolves as a invaluable tool for tourism
in Sweden.

We will do our best to find the details on how to get
to go on this safari if possible.
Lastly, there have been alot of programs I have been
watching on TV. Those WHEN ANIMALS ATTACK shows like
on Discovery Channel, and Fox on Digital Cable.
The thing is the tragedy in alot of these cases, with
Wolves, or any animal is that because of the disregard
for Nature by Humans, these animals are shot to death
later on. This is when they accidentally attack a person
because previous Humans to the area have been either
feeding them, or otherwise. This happens in parks.
These animals will not be be rehabilitated or kept
in captivity. There is no forgiveness or compassion
showed by Wildlife Officials. They will destroy the
Animal. It isn't fair or ethical.
So contact your Fish and Wildlife organizations for
your state and ask them to reverse this and to get
animals in these incidents rehabilitated or kept
in captivity out of the range of Humans. Like at
sanctuaries.
Also, find out about the different Animal species
where you plan to go and respect them. Don't feed
them and don't leave food out there for them to
get. If you encounter a predator animal, do not run.
They will think you are prey at that point.
Make yourself look imposing and big if they approach
by standing up as stall as you can.
Make sure
you have pepper spray, which is a non-lethal means
to stop the conflict.

2) Antelope Pack Wolves in Jackson Hole, Wyoming
have mange, which is a deadly disease to
them.
It's caused by mites, but irritation and
infestation causes Wolves to scratch off
fur and leads to possible hypothermia and
death. Pups are a prime target for it.
Mike Jimenez who has been interfering with
the lives with this pack for some time and
has ended the lives of many Wolves, claims
to be saddened. Yet he won't life a finger
to cure them of their plight.
After all mange was introduced into Montana
by the Montana government back in the early
1900s.
And if Humanity is already going to play

1) A horrific incident as of late
has occurred in Turkey.
Citizens chained a Wolf's leg
and tortured it for almost
4 minutes as it was recorded
on video by having Dogs bite
at it.
Finally when the citizens,
if you wish to call them that,
had enough 'fun', they
commanded the Dogs all at once
to kill the poor Wolf.

Agency is once again on the attack against
Wolves.

country to take more decisions on
the slaughter of predators.
They say that there is certain room
for managed hunts of Wolves in addition
to a controlled hunt.
This agency wants to make it so Wolves
are immigrated to get fresh genes to
inbred Swedish Wolf populations.
How does that make sense when they
say there is a possibility for another hunt
on Wolves and that will be if the population
grows?
It is a paradox that will once again bring
things back to how Wolves don't have a viable
genetic base.
If anything, the population of Humans always
dwarfs that of Natural life.

2) Republican Sen. Joe Balyeat of Bozeman supports Senate Bill
183 which would eliminate federal and state
rules on Wolves.
It would also force the Montana attorney general's office to
seek compensation for livestock issues from the federal
government.
In response the attorney general as well as the Montana FWP
opposes this measure. The Montana FWP and USFWS doesn't protect
Wolves and it is unknown exactly what the effects of this
Senate Bill did pass.
Will this go through? If it was like Wyoming's
Bills that were recommended, probably not.
Hopefully the Obama Administration's Ken Salazar will
keep them Endangered Status and stop the destruction of
Wolves in livestock issues. This is through the implementation,
education and enforcement of Non-Lethal Methods and
PF Ranching.

4) An incident caused casualties on both sides recently.
In Minnesota, a Dog was killed by Wolves from the Minnesota Wildlife Connection.
The Wolves were allowed to run around near rural areas free,
though in an ironic token, the Dog owner (Carlyle Ziegler)
wants her puppy to run around free.
Ziegler claims that she didn't know Wolves were nearby.
If this is true, this is a regrettable tragedy on fault
of the Connection. And now has caused fear and mistrust
of already feared and maligned creature.
Wednesday night at Sandstone City, a city council meeting
was called regarding Natural Animals being allowed to
run loose in the area. Natural animals were banned
being in city limits. This resolution will be in place until
some kind of ordinance can be created.
Thus what impact will that cause if educational programs
for example, can't bring like Wolves into schools for tours
to promote Wolves?

1) A Wolf who was murdered is being
investigated by the Michigan DNR
once again because it is currently
illegal to hunt them. It should be
illegal always.

by the DNR for info leading to an arrest
and conviction.

2) The Michigan DNR is also doing a yearly
survey to find out how many Wolves live
in North Michigan.
This is because in 2004 a hunter shot

actually a Coyote. Whether the hunter was

The Montana Senate is currently endorsing a plan to ban
Wolf Hybrids in the state.
Sen. Jim Peterson says the issue arose after livestock had been killed by a suspected Wolf.
Only after the animal had been tracked and killed did authorities realize it was a hybrid wolf.
Peterson says such animals should be banned.
The Senate unanimously endorsed his Senate Bill 344 in an initial vote Tuesday.
If it clears a final vote in the chamber it will go the House of Representatives..

32 is going to have
lots of effects if it

2) Sweden has been active lately
in anti-Wolf activity.
Last week although the Natural
Resources Agency said no as in
regards to controlled hunts
in five counties (Gavleborg,
Dalarna, Varmland, Orebro, Vastra
Gotaland.
The Swedish Hunting League
wants to shoot three Wolves
in six regions.
Their claim of 'logic' dictates
that it is to constrain the population
and to prevent attacks on domestic
Animals and Dogs.
As you already know, Predator Friendly
Ranching prevents livestock issues,
and animal husbandry practices prevent
Dog attacks. Also if you don't hunt,
your Dog won't get attacked by Wolves.
Simple solutions.
The SNRA turned it down because there
was a question on 18 Wolves, there is
no mandate to cull them, and the counties
oppose the hunt.

But despite this news, the Wolf that was
being hunted in Herrestad has been assassinated.
This was the Herrestad Wolf that supposed
the Wolf Hunt ran out for.

The hunters were SUPPOSED to have filed
an extension with the SNRA, but nothing
showed up on the news from Sweden.
This is a sad day for that Wolf.
The corpse of that murdered Wolf will be
taken to the 'Swedish Veterinary Medicine
Institute to see if it is indeed the Wolf
they have been stalking.

And the Swedish Hunting League also
recently applied for a controlled hunt
for two Wolves in the Jangen region,
which is in the Sunne, Hagfors, and
Torsby communes.
They say that three Dogs have been killed
and another has been 'attacked'. A Wolf
was shot there originally in November
2007.
In their application, they say that
there is a new Wolf pair in the region.
Instead of trying to live with them
two years later, the SHL wants to blast
more Wolves as usual.
Animal Husbandry Practices and no hunting
can prevent Dog deaths.
This is absolutely horrible that the SHL
wants this.
Also the SNRA shouldn't have had that
Herrestad Wolf shot to death. And they
shouldn't allow hunting of Wolves, ever.
This needs to stop.

3) An interesting article appeared recently.
It talks about the origin of black colored Wolves,
and their origin.
A scientific study was done by genetics professor Greg Barsh, MD, PhD
and Tovi Anderson, along with scientists at the University of
California-LA, University of Calgary, the National Park Service
at Yellowstone National Park, the National Human Genome Research
Institute, as well as scientists from Italy and Sweden did a
big project where they took DNA from Wolves around the world.
And they found a shocking discovery.
That black Wolves' fur color was introduced from Dogs. That's
right, Dogs were responsible for the genetic mutation that
gave many Wolves in the U.S. their black fur. And most of the
Wolves that are black are in North America.
Thus this would mean that Native Americans that came from
the Bering Strait were responsible for that.
And the scientists said that with the decline of Wolf habitat
due to the norther expansion of boreal forests which is tied
to global warming, the black fur will help save their lives.

1) Idaho's Moscow Republican Sen.
Gary Schroeder, who owns a fur-trading business
in north central Idaho, introduced a predator
giveaway bill in the Senate Resources and Environment
Committee on Monday.
He suggests they should
reduce Idaho's Rocky Mountain Gray Wolf population to a
'manageable level' by offering them -
live - to other states.
Idaho Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter and the state's bipartisan congressional
delegation also sent a letter to Obama asking him to resolve the issue quickly.

This bill has passed The Senate Resources and Environment Committee
allowing the Idaho Department of Fish and Game to contact other states about
receiving gray wolves, once delisted by the federal government.
The other states would pay for all the costs.
Schroeder ever goes further than this. In his
own words...
"At the same time, we need to have authority to depopulate those that threaten
to kill livestock, human beings or pets."
Nate Helm, spokesman for the Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife-Idaho
wants this to happen.
The Fish and Game Commission has not voted on the bill, yet.
We must contact Sharon Kiefer, department assistant director
to oppose this as well. As well as Obama, Biden, and the
new Secretary of the Interior, Ken Salazar.

2) Today the State House Committee on Travel, Recreation, Wildlife and Cultural Resources
recommended House Bill 32 in Wyoming.
It involves 'protecting' livestock and wild ungulates from Wolves and would continue to
classify Wolves as predators in most of the state.
The bill also authorizes the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission to work with
Idaho and Montana to move Wolves as necessary to assure genetic interchange among the states'
Wolf populations.
Which would mean more Wolves would be shot to death
rather than NLM's and PF Ranching being used.
Population caps would exist, so how can moving Wolves
work? Not to mention the stress that would put them
under could kill them.
They also could be shot for any reason in most of the
state. So how could they survive?

in South Salem.

to kill Wolves.

4) The Swedish Natural Resources Agency
has once again waged war on Wolves.
In a recent move, they will will lengthen the test period for the increased
'protective hunting' of predators to three years.
This new regulation has been used already for one and a half years and means that
it is permitted to shoot a Wolf in the near area of pastured domestic animal plots,
if the animal owner suspects that the Wolf will attack tame animals or dogs.
Of course as we know this can be prevented through
NLM's and PF Ranching.
The prosecutor's office and the country's police agency, which have taken
part in this inquiry, considers that protection of predators in practice
is out of play with the new regulation.
As if the Wolves were protected in the first place.
That's because under the one and half years rule has taken
the lives of six Wolves and one Bear.

was going to take place today in Wyoming
in regards to quite a few Wolf bills.

The status of Wolves as being Endangered
is up in the air right now still but
that doesn't mean some are eager
for Wolves to be managed by the
state of Wyoming.
Which House Bill 21 was supported.
It would make Wolves Trophy Game
status all across the state which
would make it so they would be
still slaughtered in livestock issues.
It would certainly get them
delisted. This bill was created
by Rep. Keith Gingery.
And they would be hunted though
it would be regulated. Never mind
the fact that Rep. Keith Gingery, of Jackson
supports it. Guess who else does?
THE SIERRA CLUB AND JACKSON HOLE
CONSERVATION ALLIANCE.
Both groups as we have proven time
and again are dirty and this shows itself
again.
In particular it was Melanie Stein of Sierra Club and Franz Camenzind
who supported this bill.
Oh it gets worse. Guess who also supports
this bill?
Wyoming Outdoor Council, the Wyoming Wildlife Federation,
the Greater Yellowstone Coalition and Wyoming Conservation Voters!
This is a long list of groups that are willing
to sell their souls for victory and throw out
the whole reason they started their groups in the
first place!
To protect Wolves. To compromise their principles
for false victory is no victory at all. We cannot
sacrifice lives for victory. It would be no better
than bombing innocent civilians for the end of
a war in a nation.
Shame on these groups!
Especially the Wyoming Conservation Voters who
supports the Wyoming Game and Fish, who slaughters
Wolves and doesn't mind hunting.
Most of the livestock industry support House Bill
148 which would proceed with the delisting of
Wolves regardless of federal approval. That is
dangerous too for Wolves.
Either way, the Wolves lose with these bills.

Wolf was 'mistaken' by a Coyote and
was murdered by hunters in South Dakota.

Here is some new news
about Wolves.

listing status of Wolves
being delisted yet but we

1) Mexican Gray Wolves from Wolf
Haven International in Washington,
have been shipped to
Mexico to the
Wolf facility called the Amigos
Del Desierto De Coahuila.
The argument
for breeding these Wolves in
Mexico won't be presented
until 2010.
Their population in Mexico
is really low so hopefully
this will happen.

2) In Arizona a Mexican Gray female Wolf
was assassinated and dumped on Highway 260.
The body of this victim was found January 19th.
The only reason that the USFWS are investigating
this case and trying to find the murderer is
because they are endangered and it is currently
a crime to murder Mexican Gray Wolves.
There is a number to report clues and a reward
for any info on the case.

3) Cattle and Sheep farmers are wanting protection
over the reintroduction of Bears, Lynx, and Wolves
in Germany.
These predators species have finally getting the numbers
that they need to live.
Already fear of these animals has given to violence.
Bavarian hunters assassinated in 2006 a Brown Bear by
the name of Bruno.
The death even sparked horrible debate between Germany
and Italy over who had 'rights' over the Bear's dead
body.
But farmers are wanting compensation and rightly wanting
the use of livestock protection dogs which was the message
given by Carl Lauenstien, head of the German livestock association.
These farmers got it right now. And they should be
aided by their government to do the right thing.
Until this happens, the same problems will persist in the U.S.
Speak out for the GLA.

4) Combe Martin Wildlife Park, Devon, had
a Wolf escape. It is one 'owned' by Shaun Ellis,
which he has a scandalous record of his

5) In Sweden the situation for Wolves
gets worse. A female Wolf was shot yestrday
was assassinated in the Sandsjo region of
Varmland, Sweden.
The hunt was ongoing since hunting (which is
unethical) led to the use of hunting Dogs,
which were killed by Wolves who found the
Dogs to be on their territory.
Britt-Marie Nordquist of the Hunting League
of Varmland wants the whole pack eradicated
since they are pack animals. And she actually
used this quote.
"If we will manage wolves, I believe more that one gets to
pick an entire region. They are pack animals and region
maintainers of the same place, and then it plays a particularly
lesser roll how many they are. Rather that it may become an
orderly cleansing one time in such a case."
Yeah, that's how genocide gets started. Condemning
a species for what they are and gradually and systematically
slaughtering them.
And who else did that exactly happen to?
Native Americans, Jews, Albanians, Ethiopians, Cambodians,
Kurds...and the list goes on and on.
This has to stop. The Swedish Government
knew what was going on here and did nothing
to stop it and abated in this.
And Natural Resources section of the government
was primarily responsible of granting these
hunts when Wolves are SUPPOSED to be protected
to begin with.
This is no different that the USFWS in the
U.S. who destroys Wolves in livestock issues
while under the Endangered status.
Now this Wolf will be sent to the National
Veterinary Medicine for 'examination'.
For what? Cause of death? This isn't to solve
an unjust murder. We know what happened. This
is the defiling of a murder victim. The difference
is because it is not Human it's ok to do it.
The lack of respect shown to animals shows itself
and even if it were a Human victim, Humans don't
show enough respect for each other as a race anyway.

1) It has been
announced that the
decision to delist
Wolves in the Northern
Rockies has been halted
temporarily.

The new Secretary of
the Interior, Ken
Salazar, will be
making the decision
as to whether Wolves
will be delisted and
the USFWS will be
reviewing things once
again.
We must convince Salazar
to uphold the delisting
and make a plan that will
permanently protect Wolves.
Here are the three points
you need to stress when
contacting him.
1) Wolves shouldn't be
delisted because they
will be hunted. The moment
they will be delisted, they
will be hunted once again
like the last time they
were delisted. No one
deserves to be hunted for
sport and destruction.
2) Wolves shouldn't be
slaughtered in livestock
issues. Regardless of being
delisted or not, they will
be murdered constantly.
This has to end as well.
Wolves don't have to be
murdered in livestock issues.
Through the use of Non-Lethal
Methods and PF Ranching, this
can be accomplished. Not just
Cheetah Conservation Fund,
our group, and certain ranchers
like Lamb and Wool.com are supporting
this, but Senators as well.
Like Senators Jon Tester (D-Wyo), John Barraso (R-Wyo),
Senator Max Baucus (D-Montana) and Senator Mike Crapo, (R-Idaho)
for passing the Wolf Livestock Loss Mitigation Act
which s designed for not just measly
compensation practices, but it will allow federal grants
to use what practices we have been writing and educating

We personally think all species deserve protection.

were even while listed. Being slaughtered week
after week, year after year, has caused all
programs throughout the U.S. to be a failure.
And Wolves aren't safe even in Alaska where they
are subjected to illegal aerial cullings and
hunted by citizens on safari hunts.

This won't guarantee full protection for Wolves

of the USFWS in addition

slaughter Wolves. And the Montana FWP, Montana
Wildlife Services and USFWS if Wolves are relisted
will still slaughter Wolves in livestock issues.
This at least is a start in the right direction. But
ultimately the goal is no murder in livestock issues.
If anything, this shows the growing numbers that
people are getting the truth about these methods.
And that they work and that more people are listening
despite those who want to use murder and mayhem
instead and lie about their effectiveness, like the
USFWS, the DNR's, Fish and Games, the FWP's, Wildlife
Services, for example.

2) Richard Garrett, a lobbyist for the Wyoming
Outdoor Council approves a bill that would change
the definition of Trophy Game for the Wolf in
Wyoming if Wolves were delisted. Trophy Game
would then make it so Wolves would be
subjected to hunting that is regulated.
This is different than the original plan to have
Wolves declared as Trophy Game status in the
Northwestern part of the state where they
couldn't be shot on sight. So it would increase
the hunting of Wolves. And Wolves would be shot
to death more in livestock issues.
Yet he disapproves of another bill that would classify
Wolves in most of the state as Game, which would
allow them to be shot on sight.
The fate of the Wolf is unknown right now. Hopefully
the USFWS still will not have a chance to delist
them before Obama takes office and even then we
have to keep fighting to keep them delisted.

Center in Glen Rose, Texas
that they 'own' to The Texas
Zoo to promote them in programs to

only 307 Red Wolves being alive with most
being captivity (200!).
These Wolves are as the article says
'replacing' the two Red Wolves they used
to have. One which was 'shipped' to

They have an article in there called
The Great Wolf Debate by Mark Kayser.
He already wants a Wolf rug in his
den.
He briefly goes over the so-called
end of the 'recovery' of the Wolf
in the Northern Rockies and in other
states.
He talks about how in Wyoming hunters
didn't mess around last year when
hunters slaughtered many Wolves in
most of the state.
He lists tips on hunting Wolves
as well.
Kayser thinks that maybe someday
courts will 'return' to reality
and restore 'game' management to
the states and so they
can put rugs in front
of the the fireplace.

2) Iberian Wolves are threatened in Spain.

A management plan was almost
approved by the Regional Spanish
Parliament of Castile and
Leon, which would have included
hunting of Wolves in this region.
In otherwords the reasoning
is to reduce livestock issues.
and to prevent poaching.
This goes against the legislation
already set by the European
Union to protect Wolves.
As we already know the destruction
of Wolves in livestock issues is
morally wrong. It is a hideously
ineffective practice because livestock issues
will continue where the Wolves
are slaughtered where the incidents
occur.
Poaching won't stop because once
this government starts slaughtering
Wolves it will be just like in the
U.S., where those who hate them
soon want to hunt them too.

increasing the legal hunt one is going to reduce the poaching, but this
type of assumption does not seem to be based on any type of conclusive
evidence and can turn out to be counter-productive.**

Be sure to include the Non-Lethal Methods link to and

only leads to violence and death which
will not stop. It will create fear and hate
of the Wolf and that will intensify that reality

This is because of NLM's not being used as the means

We recently had a wolf hybrid surrendered to us and are having
difficulty finding a rescue for her to go to.
Her name is Kiera Rose, she is approx 1 year
old and has not been spayed.

We would like to get her into a rescue that specializes in the
needs of a wolf or hybrid. We were told by the owner that she
is a wolf/malamute cross, but we were not provided with any paperwork.

The owner briefly had her in the house as a pup,
then transferred her to an outdoor kennel.
She is thinner than I believe she should be,
possibly due to improper hybrid nutrition.
She is not in physical danger here at the shelter to be considered an
emergency; however, we are very concerned about her emotional and
mental well-being as she is being confined to one of our backholding
kennels (which are even smaller than our permanent kennels).
Any assistance you can provide will be much appreciated.

at least 32' x 32' of 9ga fencing, prefer 6ga fencing, with dig
wire and at least lean-ins, prefer hotwire top and bottom.
This girl is an escape artist until she settles in at least and maybe even then.
Kiera Rose was raised inside the house and housebroken, however,
it has been several months she was banned to the outside pen.
A refresher course will be necessary. She will be spayed before adoption.

2) Everyone has seen us post asking for donations to help the Colorado wolfdogs
be saved and get to their new homes.
Maybe the newsletter below will help you understand how far we have
come and how far we have to go:
Timber's Pack Rescue
For a number of years a woman in Colorado has been quietly rescuing wolfdogs
that many felt were not adoptable due to poor socialization and shyness.
Each animal that came to Timber's Pack was provided with a loving home.
Just days prior to Christmas, Indigo Mountain received an urgent email asking for help.
The wolfdogs owner was in a dire situation. She said she had reached the most
dreadful point in her life. Her husband had left her with a young baby, she had no money,
and was on the verge of loosing everything. We were given a deadline of December
28th to find homes for 10 wolfdogs and one Newfoundland.
Throughout 2008 we have seen an increase in surrenders of all sorts of animals.
As people have to choose what bills they can pay many animals are being abandoned or
surrendered to shelters and sanctuaries. Some simply cannot afford food for their animals.
Some are loosing their homes or downsizing from the rural home to an apartment in the city.
Breeders are unloading their surplus, and in many cases shutting down the kennels.
At the same time rescuers are having more difficulties finding responsible, qualified
homes and donations are way down.
So when we received the email we weren't sure what we could do. December in Colorado
means harsh weather, frozen ground and great difficulty constructing new habitats.
We are far from immune to the slumping economy and have had to turn away a number of
animals until we see a rebound in donations to help pay for food, construction and medical expenses.
We began working with rescuers and sanctuaries across the country and by the deadline
we were successful in finding approved homes for everyone. We just had to figure out
how to get them to their new homes. Six of them have found refuge in TN and NC, while
the others are being placed in CO and NM. The logistics of transporting 6 large,
skittish wolfdogs halfway across the country in such a short time gave us all gray hair,
but everything fell into place just before the New Year.
But we need your help to pull off this rescue.
A transporter has generously offered his services to transport 6 from CO to TN for a
greatly reduced rate, but we are a long way from his fee. We must also cover the costs
to get some of them from TN on to NC. Two animals must be transported to NM once their
new home is ready.
All totalled our budget for this rescue is just under $4,000 including the
transportation costs, crates, veterinary services, health certificates, drugs,
vaccine charges and food while in foster care.
We have received a number of cash donations and in-kind donations that have
brought us close to the total budget. We are now just $1,000 short of the total budget.

2) A 'controlled' hunt has begun of a Wolf
December 30th of last year.
40 hunters were chosen to murder the Wolf
for killing several hunting Dogs. Which
if hunters didn't hunt and respected the
Wolf's land, this wouldn't have happened.
Monday the 29th, the county government of
Vastra Gotaland and the hunters had a meeting
in Uddevalla to discuss how to implement
their plans.
They will be carried out in the Herrestad
Mountains which is connected to Uddevala,
Fargelanda and Munkedal. The hunters
have 14 days to slaughter this Wolf.
The leader of this horrific group has
been chosen by the County government.
4 representatives have also been chosen
below that leader to represent the areas
represented.
They are waiting for snow to slaughter the
Wolf in a hunt that is carried out in a
'good way'. Which any hunt, is not a good
way.
Don't want your Dog killed don't hunt.
Simple solution. Hunters shouldn't blame
and slaughter the Wolf because of their
sadistic 'sport' and those who suffer
because of it.

3) The Predatory Animal Society as well as Animal
Protection Sweden doesn't like the fact that the
Swedish Hunters League wanted to shoot to death
18 Wolves in six regions to 'reduce' the Wolf
population in Sweden.
They sent a letter to the Swedish Government and

Hunters League is attempting to say that they
are representing all residents in the Wolf Regions.
Obviously this is a scheme by hunters who hate
Wolves and see them as competition and in the way of their

4) The Middle East is rife
with violence and devastation
as you have no doubt seen
on the news. Well another
creature is surprisingly
also a victim of violence
out there.
The Wolf.
In Yanbu, Wolves are slaughtered
and hung up in lynch trees as
a warning to Wolves that this
would happen to them if they
attacked livestock.
The news report says that hunting
of Wolves is 'popular sport'
in Saudi Arabia and that it is
'justified' since they are hard
to kill.
To get an idea of the sadism
involved, here are some quotes
from some of the hunters in the
article.
“This is a famous tree, which is
locally known as the Lynch Tree.
I’ve killed six wolves and hung them
on the tree over the past few years ...
people who hunt wolves bring them to
this tree and hang them here.
The bodies stay here until they decompose
and fall off or someone with a fresh
kill takes one down to hang a new one. --

The trend is horrific as people travel
long distances to see this tree where
the dead Wolves are hung.
Some even justify it in 'self-defense'.
"However, I condemn the random killing of wolves.
They’re an important element of the country’s wildlife.
I’ve killed six wolves in total,

Doesn't matter. Murder is murder.
'Ali Al-Bugaili, a hunter, said hunting wolves is something that he enjoys.'
"It’s a brilliant sport. Most often wolf hunting takes place at
night because wolves come out at night, as it’s a perfect time not to be
seen by farmers, shepherds and their prey. Shepherds, on the other hand,
are ready with loaded weapons waiting for the unexpected,” he said.
“Wolves are smart creatures and they can sense human beings easily.
They smell us from a distance. Hunting wolves after overcoming
these obstacles is very difficult. I can’t describe the joy I feel
when I kill one,” he added.
Fear and hatred lead to violence and death.
And livestock issues are preventable through
Non-Lethal Methods and PF Ranching which we
need to bring to the Saudi Arabian Government's
attention. This is so they can start to educate these
people so the Wolf will not be the target of
shepherds and ranchers who want them dead.

6) An effort in Britain
to rewild it, which is
the concept of turning back
the clock of thousands
of years of human destruction
of Nature, has been hatched
recently.
This week the People’s Trust for Endangered Species,
which currently supports the
reintroduction of beaver to Scotland,
will suggest northern Britain could support about 450 lynx.
It may be in the near future that the Wolves
may be on the list too. Which the Wolf in
Britain was wiped out by the 1500's.
Next year Natural England, who is the government's
conservation watchdog, will ask the board to make
rewilding an official policy for protecting
Britain's natural heritage.
If this movement gains alot of support, it may
very well become a reality, unlike Scotland where
Paul Lister has been opposed by many to reintroduce
Beaver, Brown Bears, Lynx, and Wolves.

1) Recently the USFWS wanted to
remove Wolves from the Endangered
Species list in the Great Lakes.
They are trying new attempts
to delist them. This is by
'addressing concerns in the
lawsuit'. That of course means
the lawsuit to restore their status which

since the Fed courts do not want
to delist them apparently as
of this time.

2) Recently the USFWS considered a petition
brought to them by WildEarth Guardians
to have Wolves introduced into different parts

They claim that they satisfied the goals (of course not)
of reintroduction of Wolves in the Northern
Rockies and summarily denied the petition.
It may be possible that they could be sued.
That wouldn't be so bad actually. The USFWS
has in the past slaughtered so many Wolves
in preventable livestock issues, and lied
to the public and to ranchers about Non-Lethal
Methods. They still do.
They also want to delist Wolves in the U.S.,
saying that their unwanted job is done. Yet
Wolves use to live all over the U.S. and all
over the world.
3) The USFWS has been involved in other
corruption and scandals too.
What does the Chinese Government and the USFWS
have in common?
Both change their representatives.
In the Bejing Olympics the Chinese Government
at the last minute had a girl lip-sing their
national anthem at the Olympics because they
felt their original singer wasn't as cute.
The USFWS decided to do something similar
with their program regarding their poster
for the Mexican Gray Wolf Recovery Program
and on the Mexican Gray Wolf website.
The Center for Biological Diversity and
15 other groups, it is unclear who they
are, maybe the same ones who supported
the destruction of 106 Wolves as of late..
to take the poster down. This is because
the name (if you cant to call it that)
is called No. 511.
This is because 511 died awhile ago in
FWS captivity from stress and overheating
in 2005. The poster and picture are of
a different Wolf.
Sounds like the Chinese Government huh?
The CBD sent a letter to director to
USFWS director Dale Hall, which we are
sure this is going to be denied.
The CBD also wants a new USFWS since all
they do is slaughter Wolves, citing the
wandering outside of designated areas
and the 3 strikes rule regarding the
execution Wolves in livestock issues.
The CBD hopes things will change when
Obama takes office. Will that happen?

4) Apparently another livestock
issue occurred in Montana's Reed Point
last week. Instead of using NLM's and
PF Ranching to deal with the issue,
the Montana FWP will extend a murder
permit to Feb. 1.
Another rancher in the area who lost
sheep because of the Montana FWP holds
a permit that will expire on Wed.
We think this may be next week since the
article was published on December 25th.
The article claims that herders
and guard dogs were used but efforts
failed. Yeah, right. Our evidence
shows otherwise that those methods work.

5) Sweden has been busy lately with Wolf issues

A) Dals-Ed commune in Vastra Gotaland got
permission to put up four cameras to document
Lynx and Wolf behavior by attacked prey animals.

is snow.

6) China forestry workers captured a Wolf that was
near the Great Wall of China. They speculated that
the Wolf left it's pack to search for food.
Residents near the Wall were fearful of it and
reported it.
The Wolf is currently healthy and is currently in
captivity and it is supposed
going to be released in a remote area. Though
when it's release will be is unknown.
20 Wolves were reported in 2000 in the mountains
near Beijing.
Zengnian Wang, deputy chief of Beijing Wildlife
Protection Association, said that Wolves disappeared
from Beijing in the 1950s, but farmers
claimed they did see Wolves.
Luckily the Wolf was not killed and we hope to see
it released soon in good health.

7) A Wolf was collared (which we
are against) in the Rendalen commune
in Norway. The residents there
are protesting the Wolf's presence
along with his family.

Last summer this Wolf and the pack
which he co-leads, the Osdal Pack,
had pups, which one was found dead
not long after two cottage owners
filmed it.
It is unclear if the cottage owners
murdered them or not by the article.
Helicopters and people on the ground
collared the Wolf with a GPS collar in
Flendal on the orders of the Natural
Resource's group there.
They are planning to investigate where
these Wolves are. And they want to decide
the fate of these Wolves through management
by making goals.
Whether this will benefit Wolves or not
is unclear.

1) An emergency meeting
was called in Wyoming recently.
Last Wed. night the Wyoming
Game and Fish Department
decided to tweak regulations
to satisfy regulations to
make it so the USFWS would
be fine with delisting Wolves.
The USFWS may possibly decide
by the end of 2008 as to remove
Wolves from the Endangered Species
list in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming
and Montana.
It held the last public
meeting on Emergency
Rule 21, which had
to do with 'predation
control'.
It's unclear if there
are any changes from the previous
plan which called for duo
status from Wolves.
Where in the northwestern
part of the state you have
the trophy game area, and
the rest of the state being
called a predator zone, where
they can be shot on sight.
12 'conservation' groups
may sue again if they are
delisted.
And the questionable Frank
Camenzind (franz@jhalliance.org), executive director
of Jackson Hole Conservation
Alliance, said a new lawsuit
would happen if duo status didn't
disappear.
He said that the Alliance and
other groups oppose
duo status because it threatens
genetic connectivity among Wolves.
Funny because Wolves can be slaughtered
in Trophy Game areas under livestock issues
which most likely could happen in
the entire state.
And Camenzind conveniently forgets
that he and other groups were involved
in the slaughter of 106 Wolves before
they were re-listed as of late.

2) As we talked about over and over again,
the USFWS' Mexican Gray Wolf Program, has been
a complete failure.
We talk about how it's because the USFWS has
slaughtered Wolves over and over and recalled
many of them to captivity where they will
never see the light of day.
An article says it's both sides that is the problem
and that they can't co-exist, which is ranchers
and 'conservationists'.
It's odd because you can't compromise the rights
of others and when you have polls, which even
this article CANNOT DENY are in favor of the
Wolf, it makes this point valid. You can't kill
Wolves, but you cannot let livestock die.
Which we have been saying this for years.
And how do you solve this divide? Non-Lethal
Methods and PF Ranching.
By using Livestock Protection Dogs, fladry,
rotating livestock, better fencing, education
and more, we could halt this problem.
Instead the government agencies and conservation
groups ignore blatantly all of this.
And because of that we have failures in all
the Wolf programs in the lower 50 states.
And if you have conservationists who support
lethal methods, like as we reported recently,
you have ranchers who want more death, and
conservationists fail themselves and the Wolf.
By the way, only 52 Mexican Gray Wolves exist
outside of zoos and breeding centers. 300
are in captivity.

1) Field and Stream Magazine's
Special Double issue, December and
January, has been extremely busy trying
to indoctrinate people against
Wolves. They also made their
intention clear to infiltrate
environmental groups to make
their industry survive.
And some of their other 'views'
will be talked about here.
In their 'A Year in Review'
article they started by
saying that first they could
hunt Wolves, and 'then some
judge put the kibosh on that'.
That judge was Judge Molloy
of the U.S. District Court.
(pg. 121)
On the page on the left they
made the Wolf in the collage
of images look really monstrous.
Of course that's not surprising.
(pg. 120)
The magazine writers of this article
were more than happy that the
Wolf was about to be fair 'game'
by putting a up arrow liking that.
It blames them for chewing through
wild game, like hunters own Elk
or something.
The magazine thought that the delisting
of Wolves on March 28, 2008 marked
the successful end to reintroduction.
Yet they were sadly disappointed and
mocked that when a 'small percentage'
of Wolves (106 to be precise) were
killed after a wait and see period of
60 days.
They said that then a consortium of
groups filed suit to have Wolves put back
on the ESA in Missoula, Montana, which
they which baffles us, compares it to
San Fransisco.
[We didn't agree with this. An emergency
injunction should have been filed.
Unfortunately many groups felt a trial
simulation which would cause many lives
to die participated in this.

They said that hunting was allowed until
July when the Judge halted the delisting.
The article then says that the USFWS
rolled over like a sick puppy and said
"Oops, our mistake. Put Wolves back
on the list, please. Then they said
that Wolves were put back on the Endangered
Species list October 14 and that once
again Elk wept.
(pg. 127, even has a picture of a Wolf
and it has a caption that says 'Lucky
Dog' Wolves are once again federally
protected.)
As you know from our website, the USFWS
has been against Wolves ever since back
in the past, circa 1946.
Elk weeping from a predator that is
SUPPOSED to prey on them? No, what they
would be weeping about is how men
(and in some cases women like Sarah Palin)
who get a sadistic joy out of blasting
animals to death shoot them for that
reason. To put their heads as a symbol
of pride in their living rooms.
Elk know the role Wolves have and don't
hate them for it. Nature knows that all
are integral to it's survival and all
pieces of the whole are important.
And if Wolves are delisted, more will
suffer, and not just by government hands.
Why?
Well they are trying a resurgence of their
ranks since they are declining as they
put it. And they are deathly afraid of this.
In their article, 'Why Johnny Won't Hunt'
they don't like the fact that hunting
apparently is on the decline. They
say it's because of rampant urbanization
as well as 'changed' cultural values,
'American religions' of organized sports
and electronic entertainment that are keeping
kids out of the woods and that their lack
of commitment could be the fatal blow.
(This is interesting because on pg. 4 of
their magazine they have an ad for Deer
Hunter Tournament for PC...and pg. 138 in
their Field & Stream Gift Guide 2008)
They think they have seven ways to bring
it back into a 'viable tradition'.
1) Make hunting a family-recreation
activity.
2) Invite someone hunting, in particular
someone who has stopped due to financial
or logistical reasons.
3) Start a rod and gun club.
4) Get on the mailing list for the USFWS
and the Department of Natural Resources,
and attend their meetings to make sure
'hunters have a voice'.
5) Reach out to conservation groups and
environmental groups.
They say to get involved in any efforts to
protect lands that accommodate hunting.
(This goes to show they really only care
about land because that's the only place
they can only hunt on. They don't
really truly care about protecting nature
for it's own sake. Not that hunting
is ethical in the first place.)
6) Join a mainstream environmental group.
This is because they want to fool people
by saying that a hunters presence will dispel
stereotypes about hunters and the 'sport'.
And they say that 'you will be surprised
by the number of members interested in taking
you up on the offer on a hunt'.
Is that so? If that were true, their numbers for
supporters wouldn't be low.

This was when the Sierra Club was once against hunting.
Then they backstabbed and snuck funds from the director
at the time, Paul Watson, to fund hunting trips and
contests.
When he found out about this treachery, he
quit being involved with the Sierra Club after
his tenure of 2003-2006.
And also this isn't the only group that has sold out.
Colorado Environmental Coalition supports the
choice of Ken Salazar for Secretary of the
Interior. Eliza Jones, executive director says
that he will be able to work with all sides.
Just because a side exists, doesn't mean it's
ethical or productive for that matter.
This could spell bad news later on especially
for the environment. And for animals since guess
who caught wind of this, Field and Stream..

Hunting is a corrupt and sadistic industry which
of course is also connected with the NRA.
If Wolves are delisted, Wolves will be the target
of hunters, the NRA, Field and Stream and many
avenues. And many animals already are, like Coyotes,
Bears, Lynx, and other species.
Most reasonable people don't advocate the murder
of people for sport, or any other reason. So why should
it be any different for animals?
2) Yellowstone Journal's winter issue has an article
called David and Goliath: When the 80-pound weakling
takes on the 2,000-pound giant.
That title really slams the Wolf there. Of course neither
is the Bison.
It talked about how Wolves have to face off against Bison
when Elk and Deer aren't around.
The article briefly mentions the Mollie Pack which
was bizarrely named after the former head of the
USFWS who was responsible for the reintroduction
of Wolves to Yellowstone. Of course the USFWS has
been nothing but a horrific nightmare for Wolves.
Of course, so has Doug Smith, one of their staunch
supporters and the posterchild for Wolves in Yellowstone,
who is quoted in the article.
The Mollie Pack feed solely on Bison in the winter.
The Firehole Pack feeds off of Elk, Deer and Bison.
Wolves in Lamar will go after Bison if Deer and Elk
aren't available.
The article talks about how Wolves need 3 to 5 pounds
a day per animal. Thus if a Bison is too hard to kill,
it isn't worth it.
Bison are capable of defending themselves and can run
40 miles per hour. Wolves have to counteract by harassing
or finding weak points in their prey. They can nip at their legs
or run through the herd, finding the right moment to
strike. This can last for days. Finally defeating their
prey they can eat 20-30 pounds of meat and have what's
described as being 'meat-drunkeness'.
What's really fascinating is that the Blackfoot Native
American Tribe, back before Horses and guns were acquired
by the Blackfoot, used the techniques described above to
hunt Bison as well.

2) The USFWS may very well
have the Wolves delisted once
again today or on Friday.
Once again the battle lines
are drawn.
2a) Ed Bangs says Dale Hall
at the top of the USFWS is considering
the options of a yes or a no.
Bangs is also aware of the growing
number of Non Governmental Organizations
that are sending out alerts and he shoots
them down. He says letters are all
the same so it doesn't take long to
go through them. We are sure he is
talking about possibly groups like
us and others. He doesn't want to
consider logical ethical arguments
against delisting.
This is because the USFWS uses
a computer program from Carnegie
Mellon University.
Bangs said this: The computer program was able to tease out 39,000 unique comments from the 240,000 total, Bangs said.
"The comment period is not a vote, it is looking for
substantive issues," he said. "Every single issue is
looked at by a person, but it allows you to deal with
these identical emails more efficiently."
This is his and the USFWS' scheme to shoot down the
number of people that actually support a cause
which dooms the whole reason of a democracy. Which
why does Ed Bangs and the USFWS continue to be able
to operate then if they have to serve a democracy?
In his logic, only one person from each side then should
be able to submit a yes or no for delisting with no details
as to why and no one else can submit any different details
that may be of use as to supporting to Wolves.

Non-Lethal Methods and PF Ranching as to how
they are effective and should be used in public
statements and in regards to legal matters.
Methods that even they don't really support. So
basically Ed Bangs doesn't want those views seen

And he shoots down like Wolves, NGO's that want
to protect Wolves and support them. He doesn't
care about Wolves, only death. Which is why
he supports the hunting industry and those in
the ranching industry who don't know about
NLM's or PF Ranching and won't use them.
2b) Adrian Wydeven, notorious murderer
of Wolves in the Wisconsin
DNR hopes they will be delisted
since Wolves are 'illegally'
being killed while under the Endangered
Species Act.
Thing is he hasn't accepted over
many years is that by murdering
Wolves, you will just feed the
desire for those who hate them
to have more slaughtered.
And he ignores Non-Lethal Methods
and PF Ranching as a way to 'control
problem animals'.
The 'problem' is Wydeven. After
all these years, he refuses like
many agencies to use Non-Lethal
Methods and PF Ranching. He will
lie to the public until the end
about how destruction and mayhem
when it comes to livestock issues.
And he thinks that the population of
Wolves, being 600, is too much.
He is applying to the USFWS for
a permit that would allow the
slaughter of Wolves in livestock
issues.
Yet he says that "In the areas where wolves are living,
there still seems to be a strong element of people being
against the wolves. That's always been the biggest

1) The AP reported that more Wolves have
been slaughtered in Livestock issues
than ever since their reintroduction
into the Northern Rockies 10 years ago.
Any murder is wrong and here is some of
what the facts/numbers break down as of late:
Montana: 'wildlife' agents slaughter 27
members of a Wolf pack near Kalispell,
Montana. That was the Hog Heaven Pack.
This year til even into December,
245 Wolves were 'legally' killed by
wildlife agents and ranchers.
Idaho: 101 Wolves
Montana: 102 Wolves
Wyoming: 42 Wolves
This is 31 percent more than last year,
which has been recorded by state and federal records.
Although some 'environmental' groups plan
to challenge the second attempt of delisting
by the USFWS, the issue of Non-Lethal Methods
and PF Ranching aren't a topic they are
bringing up as well in the mass media.
Some even like Defenders of Wildlife support
the destruction of Wolves in livestock issues.

And now they are regretting it. The Sheep in Wolf's
clothing are finally seeing the Pandora's Box that
was opened.

Even worse is the fact that Mike Jimenez of the USFWS in
Wyoming and Carolyn Sime of the Montana FWP don't mind

to the public.

would remove the bulk of the pack, but you also lost all this
livestock, so you lost the public tolerance for wolves.

1) 6 Wolves were shot to death in
Wisconsin. This was the day
before and during the gun deer
season.
Currently the feds and state
agencies are investigating it
since it is a federal crime
to shoot Wolves right now.
The first body found was a male
who was collared when captured
in Michigan's Gogebic County in 2005 and disappeared
to Wisconsin to make a new territory
for himself. Tragic his journey
came to an end 3 years later.
The other casualties were:
2) adult female from Monroe County
3) adult female in Vilas County
4) adult male in Rusk County (had a radio collar [slave collar] on him)
5) adult female in Juneau County
6) adult male in Adams County

is desperate to get Wolves delisted so
Wolves can be shot and murdered.
