'Death? What you all know about death?' -- Sgt. Barnes from Platoon
As of late Defenders has been rather quirky with its policies. On the one hand they oppose the wolf hunting that has claimed 4 lives, and are supporting non lethal methods in Wyoming in the Yellowstone Area. Yet when it comes to the plan for Wolves in Oregon, Amaroq Weiss, only supports non lethal methods as long as depredations don't occur. How is that possible? It's a paradox. As if NWF doing this is bad enough, Defenders knows better. They created an agreement with the Holders (see the information page), to have no killing on their ranch. In other words, Defenders needs to be questioned about this paradox and put back on track to solely non lethal methods. And to focus on their efforts against those who want to kill wolves.
